MarketMeSuite version 4, “The Social Inbox” is coming. It’s coming in early 2012 and we’re getting really excited about it here at MarketMeSuite HQ. I’ve shared bits and pieces of what Version 4 will be like, but we haven’t yet shared the mission… the true purpose behind this new release and why it will be so revolutionary… until now.
Curation
You hear that word a lot. There’s even an entry in Wikipedia for Digital Curation:
Digital curation is the selection, preservation, maintenance, collection and archiving of digital assets.
But what does that mean to you, as a social media user, marketer, business. Is there a such thing as “Social Curation?”
It is starting to emerge. In a recently article on ReadWriteWeb, Jon Mitchell writes about Storify, and how during recent #OccupyWallStreet events, startup Storify became the go-to site for news, because of it’s unique ability to curate social news in one place.
Email meets Social Media: “The Social Inbox”
MarketMeSuite Version 4 takes a different approach to Social Media Management, Monitoring, and Marketing. It feeds everything through what we are dubbing the “Social Inbox” so that you can filter, manage, engage, store — in a word “Curate” your social world.

We’re starting with Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn, but plan to add other network integration soon after the release. The photo above is still very much in beta, so expect some interface changes, but this post is about the fundamental purpose of our newest release. And that purpose is Curation.
Beyond simply “collection,” V4 will allow you to curate by location, network, team member. This is powerful. It becomes lead curation. And that’s what it’s all about. Cutting through the clutter, organizing your marketing, engaging in the most relevant places and analyzing what you’re doing right, what parts of the world you’re hot in, and the places your not.
Social Lead Curation. It’s going to be be big, it’s going to be powerful, it’s going to be local.
Beta testing is starting in early December. We’ll keep you posted.
Now that G+ has hit "critical mass" and knowing that social shares are becoming a more important marketing metric, along with a compelling content curation strategy, I suspect you guys will sig increase your user community from 20,000 to 100,000+ in the near term.
