Social Networking For Real Business. Launch of V2 is a few weeks away!

We’ve been working super hard to make sure MarketMeTweet V2 is everything we promised. And guess what? It’s exceeding even OUR expectations!

The precision with which this app has been built is just astounding.

That’s our new tagline and it really sums it up in a line.

Here’s a little insight into how things have been progressing:

Last week, Bill, our awesome adobe air developer got all the Twitter functionality into our sleek new RESIZABLE (woo!) interface. It’s functioning beautifully! This week he’s been hooking up all the facebook fun, including multiple fan pages and timelines.

Unlike some other apps that just make it really wide by adding pane after pane, our interface has a special tab just for facebook, keeping it super easy to organize!

Elderan has been hooking up the scheduling function and YES we can’t believe it, but you can now schedule your tweets from GOOGLE CALENDAR.

Alan’s rescue animals, Brian and Steve, have slept through most of the week. We may have to fire them…

By the end of the week the Marketing functions will be in: Follow/Unfollow/Reply Campaigns and RSS feed.  This works just like Twitterfeed, so thank you to everyone who requested this feature! It’s in!

Yesterday Alan and I had a nice conversation with Twitter about the future of MarketMeTweet, and the future looks bright. With other apps going bust with OAUTH becoming mandatory, we have made a commitment to Twitter to help the ecosystem by providing a tool that real businesses can use to increase their presence, without ever being spammy.

We’re looking to launch at the end of June, and we already have a bunch of features in our heads for V2.5!  This is why we’re so proud to say that when you buy MarketMeTweet, as long as you’re a customer we’ll always provide you with the most up to date version of our application. It’s just the right thing to do!

Also, we want to be clear. We did change our pricing (we now have monthly and yearly options). If you already owned the the app at our “one time fee,” then you have a LIFETIME license. It’s our way of saying thanks for believing in us!

We relaunched our affiliate program, and are paying a lot closer attention to it, so if you’re not yet an affiliate have a look at MarketMeTweet.com/affiliates and help spread the word. Remember, by letting you brand your tweets within our app we give up that real estate, so we do rely on you to get the message out the MarketMeTweet is a faboo app!
